Offered for sale is a historical, silver commemorative signet ring from the period of the Third Reich, associated with the German Wehrmacht. It was awarded to soldiers for participation in the so-called "fight against bands" (German: Banditenkampf).

The ring is made of 800 silver, which is typical for this type of official non-contractual awards. On the obverse there is often Third Reich symbolism (e.g., an eagle with spread wings holding a wreath with a swastika), oak leaves with black enamel.

Term "Banditenkampf": It was a propaganda term used by the Nazi war machine to describe brutal operations against the resistance (partisan) movement and the pacification of civilian populations in occupied territories, mainly in Eastern Europe.
