Odznaka Wzorowy Żołnierz - srebrna (1973-1999) - Mennica Państwowa
€20.46
We present an authentic, silver "Model Soldier" badge, 1973 design, officially awarded to soldiers of the Polish Army between 1973 and 1999. It is a unique and historical collector's item, a tangible trace of Polish military tradition from the PRL period.

The badge was designed by Bronisław Ledwarowski, and its manufacturer was the renowned Polish State Mint, guaranteeing the highest quality of workmanship. It is a three-grade badge – gold, silver, and bronze – and the offered specimen is the silver grade.

Description of the badge:
The badge has the shape of a rectangle measuring 31 x 22 mm. On a white-and-red enameled shield there is a characteristic image of a soldier's head in a helmet. At the bottom is the inscription: "MODEL SOLDIER". The badge is mounted on a post with a nut.

Condition:
The badge is in good, fully functional condition. It is a used specimen, with natural, minor scratches resulting from use, which add to its authenticity. The mounting nut is original (it may differ visually between specimens, as seen in the photos).

This is an excellent proposition for collectors of militaria, decorations, PRL memorabilia, and those interested in the history of the Polish Army. It constitutes an important element of a collection documenting the system of decorations and distinctions in the Polish army of the second half of the 20th century.
