The shako (Tschako) is a form of headgear distinguished by its high cylindrical shape. Most often made of felt or wool felt, its color matches the rest of the uniform. On its front is a typical round police eagle, which spreading its wings embraces a turret with a swastika. The cap is topped with a cockade in the colors of white, black, and red.
