Ikona tryptyk w koszulkach posrebrzanych – Św. Mikołaj i sceny z życia XIX w.Rosja—
€2,252.87
We present to you a unique and rarely encountered icon in the form of a triptych, dedicated to Saint Nicholas – one of the most important saints in the Christian tradition. This extraordinary object was made with piety and attention to detail, and its silver-plated metal cover gives it a noble yet sacred character.
The triptych stands out with its original, complex composition: in the central field there is an image of Saint Nicholas, while the side wings are adorned with scenes from his life and miracles attributed to him by tradition. The whole is enriched with additional decorations in the form of openwork ornaments, which emphasize the depth and spiritual message of this object.
The icon is made using the painting technique on a board (or wooden base), framed in a silver-plated metal frame (the so-called cover) with visible traces of patina, which testifies to its over one hundred years of history. Dimensions: approx. 18 x 12 x 3 cm (when unfolded). Condition: good, with natural signs of age (minor abrasions, slight cracking of the paint layer), which add authenticity and do not affect the aesthetic values.
This is an exceptional object both for collectors of icons and sacred art, and for lovers of unique items with deep symbolism. Ideal as an element of a home altar, an office decoration, or a gift for a person seeking spiritual support. We also recommend it as a rare specimen for further historical and artistic research.
