We present an exceptionally striking double-barreled black powder shotgun from around 1820, originating from a renowned English or French manufactory. It is a true gem for collectors of historical firearms and enthusiasts of Napoleonic and Romantic-era militaria.

The shotgun is preserved in visible condition, with a patina of age and traces of corrosion that lend it an authentic, historical character. Despite the passage of two centuries, the shotgun is complete and visually delights with its wealth of detail. Its greatest asset is the intricate engraving on the locks, which testifies to the high class of artistic craftsmanship of the era. The lock mechanisms remain in excellent technical condition and are fully functional. One of the nipples requires minor repair, which is typical for weapons of this age.

The wooden stock and butt have been richly carved, further enhancing the aesthetic and collector value of the item. The condition of the wood is good, with natural cracks and wear resulting from age. Every element, from the barrels to the fittings, bears traces of authentic history.

This double-barreled shotgun is not just a weapon, but above all a witness to history and an outstanding work of gunsmithing art. Ideal as a museum exhibit, a collector's cabinet ornament, or an investment in history. An excellent addition to a military collection, especially in the category of black powder firearms from the first half of the 19th century.
