Technical Data and Specification :
It is a Twin-lens reflex (TLR) medium format camera, 120 roll film, 6x6 cm photos, 90 × 140 × 100 mm.Rolleicord, regardless of the version, is a camera with a specific but very satisfying user character.
-
Artistic and portrait photography: Thanks to the large 6x6 cm negative, the camera offers excellent resolution, smooth tonal transitions, and beautiful, natural bokeh. The square frame provides great compositional possibilities and teaches discipline in framing.
-
Street photography and reportage: Although it is a studio camera by choice, its TLR construction has one unique advantage - the top viewfinder allows shooting from waist or chest level, which is less conspicuous and allows capturing natural, candid scenes. It is an ideal tool for conscious, calm photography.
-
Camera for learning: Rolleicord is often recommended as a first medium-format camera. The mechanical, reliable construction and manual setting of all parameters force you to think carefully about each photo, which is the best lesson in photography.
-
Versatility: Thanks to the available Rolleikin kit, Rolleicord could be adapted to use popular 35 mm film, increasing its functionality
