We present a unique, historical firefighter helmet from Germany from the first half of the 20th century. This is an authentic piece of protective equipment that has survived in very good condition, making it an excellent item for collectors of militaria, firefighting memorabilia, and the history of technology.
The helmet is made of lightweight and durable aluminum, which was a modern solution in its time. Its most characteristic and completely preserved element is the original, adjustable protective collar made of thick, black leather. This collar, attached to the back of the helmet, served a key protective function, safeguarding the firefighter's neck and shoulders from sparks, debris, and high temperatures. An additional visible element is a reflective strip (or its mounting), increasing visibility during operations.
